What a eventful week!

Despite the fact that my Ipod today decided to be fried during a crash on the computer (damm Microsoft!) and i had a field's day restoring it (It would have been better if someone comforted me though the ordeal because i was really loathing myself at the time). And the fact i had proganada enriched training from my mother in both Security and Trust (So that's isolation then). I had a pretty good week and here it is:

Monday- Prepared for a Job interview
Tuesday- Job interview, did very at it too. I was able to answer their questions with sheer honesty.
Wednesday- Booked a appointment for a current account. Done with ease
Thursday- Job searching, its pretty quiet but i did expand on my entrirpenral fronts well. Now if only i can get some time on doing the blueprints for it.
Friday- Work experience, pretty strange start at first but it was all plain sailing.
Saturday- Current account interview. The wheels for phase 1 of my independence plan is in motion!

So, best laid plans worked this time round and i hope they do in the future.

P.S: No update on Dreamer's fanfiction due to new persnol problems involving the parental controls again, and their might not be one for MangaF because quite frankly, there is nothing to report!

Call to arms

This is a special entry to the blog, yet is syndicated on CCR.

This is a plea to the world. Yesterday (as i write this) the UK goverment pubished "The Gowers Report", a report on how to tackle so called "piracy".

In it contained absurd and bittersweet ideas including:

10 Year inprisonment
Keeping the 50 year copyright
Only allowing music to be copied from CD to MP3 and not vice versa

They claim this is to protect the industry and to modernise the copyright laws for the digital age, when in fact it is just revising a dead horse.

And today, The Financial Times pubished an "advert" (i.e a petition) listing 4,500 artists (Including U2 and Sir Cliff Richard) backing increased copyright to 95 years. That means 4,500 artists become econamic bullies overnight.

Why? Because copyright is now only effective for 2-10 years old (2-4 at the minium), with today's technology we can things quickly and effectivily. With today's poltics on the industry we are forced to do it to send a clear message to companies that we do not tolrate companies who bully the people, or those who devlop products for the viewing public. We don't tolrate DRM, we don't tolrate poor distibuations, we don't even tolorate rip off prices. We don't tolarate unfairness, but you have muted us out of offical channels so we have to seek unoffical methods.

But there is hope, with the absurd ideas shown in the report, it will add new groups to the debates, and increase others. So do your bit, not only for yourself but everyone around you. Don't standby and let the econamic bullys destroy not only your life but others and even the industries they supposdly protect.

Protect the industry, by showing these bullies a thing or too about people power!

Endless war is back!

After all the persnol disputes, endless war is back! I have agreed to have my own connection so hopefully i won't have any trouble from a brother who doesn't understand "spirt", "people power", "creativity" or "liberty". Unfortantly, my brother is needing another operation so it may be after christmas till i get it. It is however, no excuse for him for not being slightly relaxed on the parental controls now, however he could try new parental control systems soon so i will wait untill they are done before i make any comment.

Sadly, as i reel off from one problem, i fall into a new one. It seems that i can't access the control panels to Dreamer's fanfiction, or to be more perscise... it doesn't exist! I have e-mailed the host about this but he hasn't replied. If he doesn't fix problem i will just update MangaF when December comes round.

On the bright side, i am putting into motion two agendas for me to get into employment and independence. I am looking into forming my own bank account, and i am continuing my jobseeking course by looking into employment opputiuintes and doing work experince. If all goes well, 2006 could just be considered a blurb in my life and 2007 will hopefully be full of protental.

Sadly, the same can't be said for DA, who has been even more absurd. I recommend a look in my DA journal to find out more detials:

An amazing dream

Part of my hobby work envolves converting some fanmade manga for MangaF. One of my contributors is Clowprincess223 who produces some great work including Yugioh: A simple game (A satire on Yugioh). But her greatist work is Cardcaptor Torika, a fanmade follow up to Cardcaptor Sakura\ Cardcaptors. It has entered its second season known as "Heart Cards" and last night i read her latest chapter "Puppetmaster" and when i went to bed after all my online stuff is checked out, i had a dream. It had the main cast of Cardcaptor Torika, and possibly Yuna and even my brother in it, in a similar story to "Puppetmaster". Oh the irony!

Now the rest of the news, i am contining work on my fanfic, its about 60-75% done. Two new chapters are up on mediaminer if you can't wait.

This is a special message that is only being synced with CCR (which you will find out why) and is partly based on the news post on my fourm.

Right, towards the end of this month there has been some problems so i will tell what they are and what is being taken.

First off, there has only been one entry and one vote in the first DF contest (Morpan's birthday)

Secondly, it seems DevientArt is doing a witchhunt on wallpapers and possibly fanart because, as you might have seen they removed about 12 deviations and 1 screenshot without a chance for me to give a defence (worse still, it happened when i replied to the community news letter). And now i fear for the safty of wallpaper desginers like me, as well as fanartists because of a similar ordeal that is taking place.

Thirdly, I just don't have enough time to do Dreamer's sims.

So, here is what's going to be done:

In terms of the contest, it will be extended to another month but if there are no new entries then it will be canceled.
In terms of DevientArt, i will prepare a defence case and send it to them, as i feel i was unfairly dismissed. From the looks of things, their 100 rules (which are not clearly detialed) and there obssession with US law (in terms of forcing it across a world webcommunity) is not going down well.
In terms of Dreamer's sims, i will have a think about it. A lack of responces to it on the Dreamer's sims section is not helping but thats beside the point, the big problems lie in compatablity issues, the fanbase and finding the space to store the extras online.

So site updates and fanfic updates may be delayed by a day or two.

After the updates are finally done, there will be a brand new Avault website (since the other one went down due to an upgrade on the Network Six server of which it was hosted). And then after that, the fanfic will be continued (There might even be a second fanfic provider!)

Well, its been a hectic last few weeks for me, and now its getting hot in the UK again! That means uncomftable moments, needs of fans and the news complaining about a drought! (Especially and ironoclly the BBC, who are doing a season of programs about "climite change").

I have heard on the media news areas that Five is planning two new channels (Five US and Five Life), both of them seem to miss their target by a mile, as basically it has been covered ten times over and Five doesn't do it propley.Meanwhile, ITV is planing to merge two regions, Merdian west and Central South to form... wait for it... ITV Thames Valley. One problem, Central south also covers Gloucestershire and Herefordshire, both regions are completly unconnected to the River Thames.

Whats being done about that? Well while Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire & Swindon will become part of the new region. Gloucestershire will become part of ITV West, and Herefordshire will become part of ITV Central west. That means news stories relating to both regions could be casted aside due to location, as was the case with the old BBC South East region before it was split into three. And besides, what's the point! ITV has been ruined anyway and local programming has been completly reduced. It's not like a new region will do anything. In any case, 40 job cuts will occur with this merge and not for good reason. Already the unions are up in arms.

Anyway, bringing us back to the DF network, now with most of the catchup done, i will resume my fanfic. Dreamer's sims will be continued as soon as possible (possibly next weekend), MangaF has been updated twice with all CCT issues now avalibe as well as YGO- A simple game.

The DF forum now has a RPG section if you want to try your hand as well as contests. I am also running a vote on a possible MangaF panel, please get involved if you can. More to the point, i need an active community!

Now, there is no need for a opt-out on DevientArt or CCR, mainly because i don't have anything specifc i need to say this time round, so its now time for your moment of Ace!

Well this is the first blog that is being posted not only on my main blog but my mirror blogs on DeviantArt and CCR.

First off, a small progress report, the fanfic ("The dreamer and the goddess") is humming along nicely with another 2-3 chapters done, course I should be getting on with it but today as I post I got "conscripted" to vac and take the dog, two tasks I don't really enjoy. What, do I have to show my shedule for each day!?

Secondly, I have discovered two freeware tools ideal for those who want to do screencaps on video files. Firstly there is imagegrab, available at:

This does screencaps into BMP and JPEG, it can do automatic screencaps per second,minute and frame. It supports AVI,WMV amoungst a few other video formats, plus VCD,SVCD and live stream support.

Trouble is, it doesn't support DivX and Xvid codecs and possibly any other third-party codec, only Directshow codecs are know to fully work. Also, there is a possibility that it won't work on a Win2000\XP accout which has limited user access. I have tried it on Win98 and it works but on Win2000 with my account as limited user it crashed.

The other tool is Image grabber II, avalibe at:

The site is not up at the moment, but you can download the programs from there.

This screencap program supports DivX and XVid as well as the formats ImageGrab can do. But it can only do automatic screencaps by frame (not seconds or minutes). Also, it doesn't have a friendly interface as Imagegrab (Though it is easy to use once you get the hang of it) and it a tendency to produce memory leaks from overuse of the program to general memory leaks with Windows. Causing you to restart the computer after repeated use of the program.

Overall both tools work in their own regard, I would prefer Imagegrab but Image Grabber II (Confusing, isn't it?) would be better for those with third-party codecs. They are both small anyway so it would be best to have both on the system.

One final thing for the general blog, I still haven't seen any users on DF forum play any story games with me. I plan to start giving out trial story games on certain forums soon as a result.

I finally have a good idea in getting some hobby work done. I will do fanfiction on Monday-Thursday (with a possiblity on doing some on Friday) and Dreamer's Sims on Friday-Sunday. Sounds familiar? Well this was the television structure Thames (and then after Carlton) and LWT did when they were still around on ITV in London (Though i was in the Midlands so i had Central which then becamo Carlton)

Speaking of TV, you may want to check the post's attached link. I have devloped a fictionol site for the game NETWORK SIX (which i was telling you about in eariler posts). Now if only something like that happened on British TV., then alienation will be one step closer to being abloshed.

Fortunately no one sent any April fools jokes, so that's a relief. Powerxxx did come on to the forum with another poem so that's good.

But I am still got a lot of work to do on my big fanfic "The dreamer and the goddess", so I am considering doing two "stopgap" fanfics or an update to "Poems of Morpan" just to keep active on the fanfic scene.

I have a new endeavor called "MakeBelive", this site is generally a resource site for my 6-Net game and my soap style blog "Dreamer's sims", hopefully this will be up soon and then I can get started on blogging my sims game. Just to let you know you will be able to interact with both MakeBelive sections on the forum soon. Not exactly sure what you can do 6-Net related, but Dreamer's sims will allow you to vote on certian outcomes and "fame votes".

Finally, some good news on my job prospects, I will be on a job development program from next Monday I think so we are finally getting some where here.

A grim day

The day has only just started for me and I think problems are starting to develop online, certain forums I have visited have crashed and some e-mail I should have been expecting have been lost possibly by this supposed blacklisting. My wikicity request has been rejected because it is too broad, so I will have to think a little bit more on it.

But on the bright side, I am halfway though setting down all the Sims families for my game. I plan to use Blogger, Sims photo archiver and possibly even flicker and my forum to provide and interactive Sims story on my Sims neighborhood. The fanfic, whilst only little bits have been done in favor of preparing the Sims, is getting there. And I have got new meeting to go to on voluntary work and Work employment programs, so it can't be that bad.

Man, i been moving stuff around the house on two occasions its has tried me out to the point of sheer umm... madness. Have you ever had a day when you were just going to kick back and do something productive when low and behold, you been forced to move funture for the entire day! Well, i had two of those days and i am rather behind in fanfics and my podcasting listening, i still have 7 podcasts to listen to at the time of this post. The DF forum on my site has been less active so please, if you have a chance, pop by for a bit.

In other things, i noticed that the EU doesn't know when to quit with there absud software patents. Take a look at the site linked to this post for more info. Hopefully, we can stop another attempt to bring these patents into motion again.

New year... and i'm sick!

Well the new year dawned so I would like to say Happy New Year to all. Let hope this year will be more truthful, hopeful and peaceful this time.

Well, I got sick, to be blunt. I have a big cold is making me alone and lost, my voice is gravelly, I getting multiple coughs and I am general feel lost.

I keep asking why this is happening to me, I feel even worse than what I started with yesterday with a just a sore throat and bunged up nose.

I wish... My dreams could come true.

Until then, I will sit back and listen to this podcast (I am listening to the Daily Source Code at the time i posted this). There maybe a site update to dreamer's fanfiction, but my latest fanfic is VERY BIG. Until then you can check out the forum, link is on the Dreamer's fanfiction site.

It been some time since my last post, the Christmas rush has surely kicked off. I handed in my Christmas list, most of it got approved, as usual. But it is all in now, so I just now just wait on what I am going to get.

Work progress is moving along smoothly, if all goes well, I will be on my way to employment in the next year. Mind you, staying in house for 3-4 months has gave me the blues, so I am trying desperately to get out more, maybe helping out in the Christmas shopping will cut down on some sleepless nights.

Progress on the DF network is steady, my next fic is a big one for sure, so be patient. In the mean time, a second update has been drafted and will be up hopefully by this weekend if I have time.

1st day of December and once again, my Christmas list has been resent to me with the fact I am unable to get one of the presents on it! So I have to redo I small portion of the list and I am going to give it to my parents again and hopefully, I will have some of them from the list.

This and the fact it that time to update the site again, so it has been a bit stressful. From the looks of things I will have to update it again soon to reduce loading times.

What Wikipedia is not!

Hello again, here to post my latest endeavor!

2 days ago we had a anon user on wikipedia who essential erased everything to do with the KOTOR2 restoration project mod. Forcing another user to replace it. The anon user then posted a message on the actual article state that the mod was illegal, I had to move it to the talk page. Then the trouble began.

Another anon user looked like he was trying to impersonate me, forcing me to remove his post and replace it with my own. Then the anon user who started the problem began a little verbal fencing match with me. He\She states that I can't intervene because I am not an admin or a mod on wikipedia. There is no such thing as a moderator in wikipedia, all users can edit an article, good users will attempt to remove vandalism and provide new details and images to an existing article, all while trying to keep the arctile neutral and balanced. It is not a forum and talk page is deigned for feedback and suggestions to the arctile. All of which is backed up by the GNU public license and images have to fall under a certain license as well.

Clearly, the anon user had no idea what wikipedia is all about in my opinion as the user stated the fact that the licence rights belong to the company. He\She doesn't say what he\she was talking about, the game or the arctile. Getting rid of vandalism is one of the tasks I do on wikipedia, and it feels like enforcing in some ways. Thankfully, wikipedia's admin has intervened, maybe this problem will be settled soon.

Two weeks back I think, I was wondering if my site was in trouble because I didn't include ads on it to pay the hosts bandwidth. I mailed the host and he just replied saying that he is currently not receiving bandwidth problems, so there won't be need for ads on Dreamer's fanfiction. So I am safe for now.

Nothing much is going on at the moment in terms of developments on the site though I did do massive enhancement to the forum so hopefully it will attract users. Be a user for me if you can, especially if your a fanfiction writer or an anime fan. Just click the link to this post.

Well, I have restarted my blog, well the first blog wasn't really a blog though. I didn't really have a sense of direction in it.

So the first thing you may ask, is why is the blog called endless war? Well it just feels like that whenever I have to deal justice to certain topics, be it reverting a article on Wikipedia due to a vandal, or try to press something which seems to get muted just because it is the truth!

But regardless of the grief and problems, I look though the world like a lens. My fanfics are my art, my spirit and my dream. Its keeps me from boredom most of the time to.

Well, that's enough for an intro, I will post now and then on what I feel. Hopefully, the blog will serve as a newsletter, a ranting box and possibly anything else that is going on in my head.
